I love this vase. It is about 10 inches tall and gets about 7 inches wide. It was glazed with white, purple, and blue. I really like the shape of it and the colors. A art element could be shape because it's a vase. A design element would be movement because of how all the glaze ran and dripped together.

Small Pitcher

This was made from porcelain and is about 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide. I has a light blue glaze all over it and a spout and a handle. I like how it turned out because it's simple and small. A art element could be texture or lines because the glaze didn't  cover the lines from pulling the pitcher and so they can still be seen. A design element could be movement because the lines from pulling up the wall show movement, and also because the shape of the project because its wide and then narrow and then wide again.

Set of Three: Teapot and Cups

To start off the glazes on the cups and the teapot are the same color, you just can't tell because of the lighting. I made this teapot and cups out of sea mix. They are glazed with clear under and has translucent sea sprayed on top that goes from darker towards the top to lighter at the bottom. This was also the first time that I made a teapot, but it was easier than I was expecting it to be. One art element could be shape because there is more added onto the teapot because there is a spout and a handle. Also the cups have a swirl at the bottom. A design element would be balance because half of the projects are blue and half are white.

Cup

This is the cup I made. It's a little bit small and I'm not sure that I like it. Before it was bisqued I tried to stain it but it didn't work out like I was expecting it to. This was because when I actually glazed it it made the stain run which kind of ruined the cup.

Cylinder

This is an extra cylinder that is also kind of a bowl. It has light blue glaze, scrap and white. I really liked the way it turned out because even though I didn't like the light blue glaze I like the way it ran with the white and scrap. An art element is value because the scrap with the blue created a darker blue and the white a lighter blue making different values of blue. A design element is movement because of the way the glazes ran together.

Bowl

This is a bowl I made. It was glazed white and had dark blue, green, and scrap brushed on. One art element used was texture  because the glaze was brushed on and it wasn't a solid color so there was layers. A design element could be movement because the glaze started to run with the white.

"Vase"

This is my vase. I threw it out of sea mix and it is glazed in white on top and blue on bottom on the outside and the colors are switched on the inside. It isn't exactly a vase because it doesn't have  a lip at the top and it's pretty short. But I do like the way that it turned out. One art element could be lines because there is a line between he blue and white glaze. A art element could be movement because the white ran down into the blue glaze.

First Bowl

This was the first bowl that I have thrown in this semester. It is 7 in wide and 5 in tall. The glazes on it are the light blue on the outside with green drips down it and shadow green on the inside with blue drips. One new skill I used was pulling out and up at the same time, and not using a ribbed tool so that the walls of the bowl were straight not curved. One art element is color because I on;y used two, but with the two colors I made them opposite of each other. One design element is contrast because the inside of the bowl is exactly opposite of each other. I like this bowl because I like how the opposite colors create juxtaposition.
