This is my final hallway drawing. I think that this is a successful drawing because all of the lines match to the vanishing points and to each other, making the walls match up! I also think this because it shows some of the smaller detail from Mr. Aslamy's window lines to the wall poster and the screws in the wall. I overall think that I did a good job, and am happy about the outcome, except for the charcoal that got on it.
This is my draft for the two perspective drawing of the hallway. In this drawing I haven't accomplished much, but i got the general feel for the hallway that I was drawing. It was a little but hard in the beginning because i wasn't on the floor, I was sitting on stairs. To add to the confusion half of my view was blocked by a wall that my paper wasn't big enough to show. Some things that i need to work on is alignment because even though my lines matched up with the vanishing points, they don't match up with each other Thus creating askew walls and such. I also need to work on the finer detail such as the lockers, the lines on the floor, and the ceiling tiles. But other than my minor complaints I think I did a half decent job. In conclusion to my endless rant I think that this was a great practice to have to prepare me for my final draft hallway drawing! Here is just a picture of me practicing a wall from a two point perspective. It can be hard to capture what a place really looks like but I tried. To make this better it could be from a farther away distance. This would help because when i'm so close it can be hard to get the perspective right with such close vanishing points.
